Amy Adams has been cast to play Lois Lane in new Superman Movie, which director by Zach Snyder. Adams was recently nominated for an Oscar for her role in "The Fighter." She joins a cast of Henry Cavill as Superman, Diane Lane as Martha Kent and Kevin Costner as Jonathan Kent. The Director confirmed he reached out to her by phone, when in Paris on Sunday.
"There was a lot of research of Lois, for us it was a big deal and obviously a very important role. We did a lot of auditions, but we had this meeting with Amy Adams and after that I felt was perfect for her." Snyder told the newspaper.
British actor Henry Cavill, 27 years old Channel Islands native will be the star of Superman and, of course, Clark Kent and has announced that casting this Sunday. Cavill had been held and a successful product in the roles of Batman, James Bond and even the previous version of Superman. Warner Bros has targeted December 2012 to release this film.
